ASOB develops training and continuing education solutions with a focus on tax law topics in agriculture and forestry. With programs such as the Bachelor Professional in Agricultural Accounting and Taxation or the qualification as a tax clerk, ASOB combines specialist knowledge with practical qualifications. Modern blended learning concepts enable flexible skills development independent of time and location. The app is currently still under construction.

The challenge

ASOB develops practical education and training programs for partners, focusing on tax law issues in agriculture and forestry. The aim of the project was to transform the existing media library into a modern, user-friendly web app that can be used flexibly on all devices.

The challenge was to present the wide variety of content and functions in an app environment that is far more complex than a traditional website. In addition to standard elements such as login, home page, and profile management, interactive features such as filters, watch lists, notifications, a tutorial for first-time users, and AI-supported search had to be integrated. All elements had to be designed consistently and coordinated with each other to ensure intuitive user guidance.

Our solution

We developed a modern, appealing redesign for the web app based on the existing corporate design. To this end, we created a style guide that defines all app elements and interactions—from buttons and forms to complex functionalities such as AI search and notifications.

We designed and developed all interfaces in Adobe XD, including:

Login, login with incorrect password, assign new password
Home page and various filter options
Wish list and notifications
Profile settings, tutorial when opening for the first time
Help center, FAQ, search, and AI search

Special attention was paid to UX optimization in order to make navigation in the web app clear, understandable, and pleasant—especially for user groups who access content at flexible times. The implementation was responsive, so that the app can be used intuitively on desktop, tablet, and smartphone alike.

Result

The new media library app from ASOB offers a modern, user-friendly experience that makes all content structured and easily accessible. Through the redesign, UX optimizations, and comprehensive design of all interface elements, we were able to create a web app that is both visually appealing and functionally meets all requirements.

For us as an agency, the project shows how complex content, extensive functionalities, and individual requirements can be implemented in a clearly structured, intuitive web app—while maintaining corporate identity and ensuring high user-friendliness on all devices.
