SINEOS developed a process for the integration of digital rental contracts for the i Live Group from Aalen, based on the CMS TYPO3 and Adobe Sign. This killed two birds with one stone. On the one hand, the UX on the tenant side was improved because the process could now take place completely online, without printing out the documents or sending them by post.

"A primary goal was to support the customer in digitizing their co-contracts. By switching from pure PDF generation to a fully digital process including online verification via Adobe Sign, the customer has saved over 60% of time in the processing procedure."

Secondly, at i-Live itself, because the documents sent by post did not have to be checked again and scanned in a second step, which created extra work. In future, there will also be no need for a separate storage room for the documents as part of the retention obligation, as everything is stored online.

This gives you flexibility. The legally binding contracts are stored at Adobe, and tenants and landlords have access to them at all times. A copy is also automatically stored at i-Live on a Microsoft Sharepoint server.

The contract is also signed online and is legally valid.

The rental contracts for the micro apartments are managed using the company's own software (SaaS). This gives employees full control over the current status of the process and allows them to contact the tenant if necessary. The app also includes a service for carrying out an initial credit check on applicants.
Additional documents for self-disclosure are also stored in the app.

In the future, the rental process is to be linked to the RELion software, a real estate ERP used to manage rental properties.
